Public holiday and I'm stuck at home. I was frantically looking for some South Park videos and most of the websites are either closed or the videos are banned.
I'm getting interested in Singapore Politics recently. Partly influenced by zy and the newspaper articles. Really interesting. Came to a realisation that even very intelligent adults can be childish too. I mean for example like the very recent James Gomez incident. It happened like 5 years ago and there was no action taken. It dragged all the way till this coming General Election where all the evidences like telephone transcripts and CCTV videos started popping out from no where. Ok, it happened to happen at my district, therefore it really arouse my interest.
So I was talking to my parents about the coming General Election and analyse why so-and-so do this and why so-and-so do that. Weird analysis my dad "cook" up, it makes sense though. I really like Chiam See Tong. Guess he's one of those really enthu and passionate about politics. The other noobs I'm not so sure about it. I mean, politicians come from all walks of life. They can be a doctor, lawyer bla bla, or a businessman etc. I think I read somewhere in on of the articles when one of the opposition parties were introducing the noobs. One of them whom I've forgotten the name drew my attention. There were 5 noobs and 4 of them have at least a degree in renown universities. There was one whose highest education is primary school if I'm not wrong. Can't remember the details but I know that noob is not very highly educated. I think I'm rather pleased to see that there are people who do not judge others by paper qualifications. Like what Mr Remedios told us before: It is easy to be educated, but it is not easy to be wise. It makes sense, doesn't it? Hmm..
Oh! I realised that I just wrote a GP newspaper commentry. Haha.. I'm just bored okay.. =)
