Getting older.
I can't deny that my stamina for long courses aren't as good as before. The first day of LTC was hell. I was attacked by a series of unfortunate events that I could not have a good sleep the night before. The next morning had to meet ketam super early in the morning to get his laptop and rushed over to Eunos market to meet Lu to get the whistle. And I made it to school by 720am. I was zombified the entire day. I was actually feeling sleepy as I'm giving lecture. Note that I was GIVING lecture when I felt sleepy. Thanks ketam for lending me his laptop. Although it didn't work, I really appreciate that he readily lent me his laptop. Cancerians are helpful people, aren't they?
Finally, today marked the end of the 2.75-day course. I was so happy that I couldn't sleep when I'm supposed to. But the adrenaline died off soon after.
The inadequate sleep had led me to become some hot-tempered monster. Coming home every night feeling all tired and irritated that even the slightest thing can cause me to scream my head off. After venting frustration, then I started to feel bad about it. But when times like this occur again, I forgot all about feeling bad and started throwing tantrums. This is super wrong. Aversions. Something that should be avoided. Hais. Just can't do it when comes to inadequate sleep.
Come to think of it, this is just the ''appetizer'' to my busy month of June.
11th June: Promotion Test
15th June: IPC
16th June: Sec 1/2 P.Ubin Orienteering Trip
20th - 22th June: LMSC (this is gonna be supppppeeerrrr tiring.)
22th - 23th June: Area Chalet (being one of the coordinators, guess Lu and I had to stayover.)
23th June evening: Hakim and Fudge's Passing Out Ceremony! ( I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. If I made it to his POC, that would mean I have attended all the CIs' POP/POC! Haaj, I too proud of you!!)
On top of that, there are bound to be meetings after meetings be it Area or unit.
Wee! Next Wednesday if nothing goes wrong, I might be able to go jamming for the first time in my life with Vertigo! Lu wants to play the reason by Hoobastank. I'm going to find the tab soon and start practising! Psssss. That day is his birthday. We might want to dress up as Mickey and Minnie mouse and kissssss him!
The sun has been comfortable these few days. And I want more sun! Kayaking some day I hope. And I promise that this time I will try not to do capsize drill unnecessarily. But sometimes when weather gets too hot, kayakers tend to capsize on purpose to dip their heads in the water and get up either by coming out of their kayak and crawl back or do eskimo bow rescue where they just grab onto another person's kayak and use their waist strength and "roll" themselves up. It's rather cool! I miss kayaking and the sun!
Alright. I think I need more sleep. Goodnight everyone!
