a "5 red cars" day
Went out with zy today. We wanted to go to Bugis to get present for Dad's day but we changed our agenda and decided to visit temples. It was a brilliant idea because mum and bro going to HK tomorrow and I could pray for their safety.
We went to Shuang Lin Temple again but this time, we visited the different halls in the temple. Very good!! Really good. I felt utterly embarrased when I was praying in the Da Xiong Bao Dian. I knelt on the wooden cushion and when I got up, I accidentally made a loud bang. I'm too clumsy la! Very good. I always feel good after visiting the temple.
We went into Cheng Huang Miao and I didn't notice the huge lots for people to draw the previous time. Usually people will shake the container with the lots until one of the lots dropped out right? But the one in Cheng Huang Miao is a huge one where you don't have to shake. Just pick the huge lot from the container. I was so tempted to draw one. But I did not.
So after Cheng Huang Miao, we headed on the Guan Yin Temple in Joo Chiat. He remembered that our bikes are parked at the bus-stop, so we wanted to cycle to Joo Chiat. But halfway he wasn't feeling well (the poor boy is sick la), so we decided to cycled to Kembangan and back home. I was feeling scared to cycle by the road but I was cycling very fast. Haha.
Alright! Shall visit the Bright Hill Temple and explore Pulau Ubin some day ok?? =)
Like I say, it's a "5 red cars" day.
