Another fulfilling day.

Yeap! I went to Cerebral Palsy Centre again after 1 month. I feel happy to talk to some of the kids, to learn from the teachers and to see as an observer. There was this kid, not convenient to disclose his name, he is a super intelligent and eloquent child despite his condition. Had a really nice talk with him. He's luckier than other kids because he can talk and write and play computer games and gameboy. As compared to other kids who cannot even talk and understand others, he's luckier. However, I think the other kids are luckier too as compared to kids with the same disease and are unable to receive proper education. The latter is luckier too as compared to kids in other Third World Countries who cannot even get their 3 meals daily. The list goes on and on.

All of us are fortunate. There are too many attractions around us that obscured the point that we are all fortunate in one way or another. Therefore, whenever we feel that others are better than us, we should also see that we are also better than others in other ways.

I gave my cousin tuition last night. He shared with me things that his friends are doing in school and I just shook my head in aghast. Kids in Cerebral Palsy Centre had to work very hard to complete their PSLE at the age of 18 while normal kids in the mainstream education are taking much shorter time and yet they're doing things they aren't suppose to do. Pros and cons. If the kids in CPC are normal, not suffering from any diseases, they might ended up like the latter. Vice versa. SO, we shouldn't be too upset or worried over many things. Because, almost everything works the same way! Everything, every situation has got its pros and cons.

Tomorrow, Sarah and I will be passing out from Area10. Not from Damai of course. And I heard they'll be giving away plaques to the passing out cadet inspectors! So happy! It has been a long long long time since I last receive a plaque/trophy. Court shoes. Hate to wear court shoes. I'm expecting blisters and tears on my feet tomorrow. Ouch!

Quote of the day:

A person with a generous heart and compassion for all beings leads the most blessed life.
