the hell week
Finally, the toughest time is over.
I've never felt so tired and shagged and listless before. My motivation and morale plunged to the lowest level. Having to wake up 5 plus in the morning and reached home at 8 plus at night for three whole days is sick. LMSC is tiring. With the shortage of manpower and more CI-Cadet involvement and on top of that, having to go through LTC last week with exactly same problem is totally sick. It was so tiring that I really felt sick of NPCC for the first time. It was this responsibility for my Area, for my cadets and my buddies that relunctantly pushed me along. On top of that on a personal level, I'm not going through a very smooth phase in my life. A course had never been more tiring. With a tired mind, I had to move and get going. With a tired mind, I had to constantly motivate myself.
But because I had that tired mind and I pulled through, I felt sense of achievement especially when my Squad 4 was the best squad in LMSC. I didn't really put in much effort. LMSC 07 made me learnt a hell loads of things. I'm not afraid of handling cadets from other units anymore. Really happy about that and about the cadets' feedbacks about the instructors. It's very heartwarming that they shared their best group present with me. Sameer was a nice person to work with. He is not so pia type and I don't like to be that pia. He slack so I can slack. Haha! I learnt a lot from him too. Sadly, he is enlisting in 2 weeks time.
Immediately after LMSC I had to rush over to the chalet. AC is a nice person to talk to too. And got mamak eligible to go to ATC through AC. Area chalet was fun. Lu was being so nice about my welfare being the only vegetarian in the Area. He is very nice. Little details like mayonaise, cooking the vegetarian food before all the meat products first, things that I wouldn't mind if circumstances disallow. He is just very meticulous. That's why he's such a nice friend, right Lu? Haha. Really had a fun time. But I was so pissed with myself at night. Took the last bus home and I overslept on the bus. When I woke up, I was already at Ubi and I thought I was still at Tampines area. Luckily I took a second glance. Argh. My bladder was tight and I was feeling really tired without having proper rest through LMSC and chalet. I called Ul and he asked me to scream to vent my frustration. I really did. The road was rather empty and no one was around me. It was midnight already la and I was stranded at the ulu place.
Ketam is such a nice person also la. He kept me sane by listening to all my woes and stuffs. He's really good. Felt really grateful to him though we always fight and bicker. Guess we can't see each other. We can only have peace talk on sms or msn. Lol. Thanks ketam for "reading" me out. (:
Class outing was good. Thanks girls for the earliest birthday present. I was really surprised. I liked the wallet. I think it makes me look cool. Hahaa! The cycling was goooood! I got more tan and I really liked the sun and the wind. Though weather was crazy in the afternoon. I really love it. Caught up with the class and played pool. Xian and I taught Sabbie and Eileen to play pool. I like to play pool but I get tired of it easily. So after 2 games I was feeling sick of it already. It's a class outing worth organising. Xing ku ni le, valr!
That's the end of my busy busy busy week. A very very summarised and happy version of it. The rest I don't wanna think and I don't wanna infer more. Tomorrow is a new day worth looking forward to. I have to start doing some planning all over again. And hope that my appeal to NTU will be a miracle. Amitabha~
